Masters of Orion 1 and 2, for sale together now

I thought I would let everyone know who might visit this site, that Masters of Orion 1 and 2 just became available for sale on gog.com
It is being sold as a 2 games for the price of one.

will they work with the switches? can they be modded? if so i might buy just to play on vista64.

can get it to work but cant mod or use command line switches unless i did out my old laptop, do it on there and copy across. long!

Well no reply. Its only £3.50 so ill give it a try me thinks.

It says compatable with winXP, and Win Vista 32+64 bit.
So, whatever works for the Windows version, Yes.
Whatever requires the DOS versions, No.

Sorry, I can't be more specific than that.
You'd have to look up the switches you are interested in, and confirm they are compatable with the Windows versions.
I think they are, but, I don't use switches, and I don't have the DOS version either.

Someone else on here might have already done that, and can confirm it, one way or the other.
