When Are Androids Worth It?

Postby Gorean » Sat Jul 11, 2009 4:57 pm

I have always ignored androids in the past, but I just read that moral bonuses do, in fact, affect them. That makes them sound a lot better to me... So, when do you think that androids are worth using? What sort of circumstances, and picks, make them most effective?

Use androids before you population hits max, and build many of the Production ones. Prod+3 helps any race build everything faster. Also, all androids are inherently Tolerant, so, they won’t produce waste. A Poor Planet becomes a Rich planet with these. I have even moved my cits off and have just these, on planets such as Toxic poor (or greater) planets. A Research race needs prod wherever it can find it.
Consider a DemoLith race gaining Prod+3 and tolerant.
MOO1 Fan, MOO2 Fan, MOO3 needed too many changes = hopeless, getting older waiting for a MOO4 (still).
