I've been trying to get Moo2 to work under Vista, so far I have no luck. First, the game required a DLL file, which I downloaded and placed in c:\windows\system. When I tried to start the game, I was confronted with the message "Orion95.exe has stopped working" etc etc. I attempted to run it in DOSbox, got the Simtex logo, then got the following message: ", Network [entry 1] could not be found." The comma at the beginning isn't a typo, that's what was there.
Any help?

Sorry,
I heard the problem before, but we couldnt find a solution. But try to contact the other player. Maybe you could figure out similarities in your hardware.

single player use?
Has anyone been able to use MOO2 in a single player mode in MS Vista? If so, how? Thanks for the help.

I'm afraid not. I just got a new laptop with vista home premuim, and cant get MOO2 to run on it for love nor money. I get the same error messages that other people seem to be getting eg: 'Orion95.exe has stopped working' but cant seem to fix it. The only thing I've not tried is the DOSBOX guide (compatibility wizard doesnt work), but I dont know or understand enough to use the guide. Could anyone on here explain it to me in easy to grasp terms?
Any help would be greatly appreciated - must have my MOO2 fix!!!
