Hiigaran (stolen from homeworld)

-20 def
-20 spy
Repulsive

Dictatorship (0)
Sub (6)
Aqua (5)
Rich HW (2)
Arti HW (3)
LG HW (1)
+50 pop (3)

I tested it in singleplayer and it worked pretty well, some not-so-obvious benefits that I noticed were:
-ability to use holo sims to benefit: income, food, prod, tech
-huge income (high population), can buy autofacts and barracks
-low maintenance costs (each building effects more citizens)
-HW is size 28, its like having 2 super homeworlds!
-pollution is reduced significantly by the large planet size
-10 agent defense, no need to research spy techs like demo

I think this can survive on a small map, what do you guys think?

You will have a great start on your HW, but, things will slow on the rest of your planets.

First, I would include Unification in your strategy.
If part of your goal, is to not use Unification, then I would swap out Rich HW (2), Arti HW (3), LG HW (1) for Production +2.
Otherwise, the rest of your planets will be lacking in production that your current HW enjoys.

The other option would be Prod +1, and boosting Growth to +100, if you really want rapid growth.

One thing is certain, you will always be building something on every planet, so, getting it done faster, is a plus.
