Computer to Computer

I was wondering if you can hook two computers together via ether or dsl or usb cable that it would be posible to play the "hot seat" form of the game. Is the only way for two people in the same house with more than one computer to play each other through kali?

Install dosbox on both computers http://masteroforion2.blogspot.com/2006 ... guide.html
In section 8 you put the LAN IP of the host.

For networking two computers together it's generally best to use a router and a switch or a router with a built-in switch. Then each computer's network card connects to the switch and each pulls their own IP from the router. The router then can be connected to DSL enabling both to share the same DSL uplink.

I'm not aware of any method of networking that uses a USB cable.
