Tech race tips for turn 1-100 in latest VDC

We use this setup

VDCOR.EXE /skipintro /planets=5 /minstart /noorion /nowh /nobh /nonebula /nosplint /noreport

mapgen.exe -ttoxic -tfixedhw -ttiny -tupoor -tlowg -mmonst
Cryogen.exe

VDCOR.EXE /skipintro /planets=5 /minstart /noorion /nowh /nobh /nonebula /nosplint /noreport

We played at first with good map, but we find it make planets to much perfect for food and expansion even when using mineral universe, and it force all player to use Aqua, that why we switched to orange, even it the universe is more random outside the hw cluster.

I don't see how a tech race can win vs a Unification prod race.

Could you share a way that work vs a player with the same skill level has you ?
Tech (or creative) vs production race (uni prod +2, rich hw, sub or aqua).

We use impossible, Large, average age, 2 players, average tech.

No random event, no anteran, no computer players.
