I like this idea. But first i wanna enjoy noreport a bit. Otherwise I wont be able to evaluate the several switches when you use them soon combined.

afaik LB adds noscan soon. thats imho enuff for the next release.

But i also like your fogged main map idea.

I like it also, but I think haveing sies on hideiang to be used to detect info, perhaps it will show a view of one or more fields in history report for that turn spy was sucessful

Sounds interesting. The hide-button would be useful then.

I actually think this was the original idea the game designers had but they never got around to finishing it. We will never know...
