Possible to create Keyboard Shortcuts ?

HI!
I have never stopped to play MoO1 or 2 since they came out, still enjoy both games very much.
One major usability disadvantageof MoO2 in my opinion is that there are no (useful) keyboard shortcuts.
I wish there was one to cycle through the planets when you are in the Building-Screen. Is there any chance to add this somehow?
MoO1 had some very useful shortcuts:
F2- Cycle to next colony
F3- Cycle to previous colony
F8- Cycle to next colony that has enemy ships enroute
F9- Cycle to previous colony that has enemy ships enroute
So, what are the chances?
