Is it possible to make the game not apply all of them based on your gross production?

IE make it so the game doesn't apply Blockaded and gravity penalties without taking the other penalties into account?

Lord Brazen could possibly change it (assuming he had enuff time), though I dont see why it should be changed at all, since it works like it was intended by the devs.

the forum IS about modding the game. :p

the reason is what happens if you have two -50% penalties. you get NOTHING at all.

Base prod=3
pop=3
only production boost is automated factory

3*3=9
3*1=3
total=12
-50% of total=6(heavy g)
-50% of total=0(blockade)
+5 for factory
total production output of planet=5.

:( sure it doesn't count as a bug. But it's not really a good thing.

So you'd like to see it changed to be:

...total = 12
-50% of total = 6 (heavy g)
-50% of 6 = 3 (blockade)
+5 for factory = 8 all in all in this situation

Looks good to me, I'd like to have it changed this way too. Only maybe the order of penalties different, as to make blockading the most severe in any circumstance:

...total = 12
-50% of total = 6 (blockade)
-50% of 6 = 3 (heavy g)
+5 for factory = 8 all in all in this situation

What about percentile positive effects? Should the also be cumulative or add only a total percentage of base production like now?

Well the way I set it up to apply the penalties it come out the same any way you stack them. But sure why not?

The only +% boosts are leader bonuses and morale. stacking them this way actually makes them better.
