Asia pacific not allowed for IRC chat?!

yo! if theres anyone still out there in the abyss! got a problem myself,
it says --- no hosts from Asia-pacific thanks! ---
whenever i try to connect....
I have everything set up optimally for my pc, patches, dosbox the works. everything but the players and it seems i cant get into the only place the players are at
so how am I to find players then
I do invite anyone out there who wants to have a game to IM me on my MSN or YIM (I use YIM more often, but PM me here first please).
