Need Help How to Host Internet Games

Postby Anjin » Tue Apr 18, 2017 2:37 pm

Hello Folks,

I have been trying to figure out how to host using DOSBox ipxnet startserver, but am having trouble.

I have DOSBox v 0.74 installed on a Windows 10 machine and have no trouble running MOO2. I have also been able to connect to a hosted session from my MAC using my computer's local LAN address of 192.168.1.100 without problem. I have also forwarded port 2000 in the firewall settings of my router.

The main problem is I can't figure out what my IPv4 address is. Whenever I use a whatismyip website, it gives me an IPv6 address, and hosting doesn't seem to work for me using IPv6. Has anyone else had this issue?
