The Orion Nebula

hey there,
i tried playing moo2 via DOSBox for the first time.
I tried it on my laptop and another pc in my private LAN
hosting and joining of the game worked properly but i had no sound on each of the two machines.

i dindt change anything on the sound config of dosbox cuz i just wanted to try if it worked in general, can someone help me to get the sound working?

in the desktop pc i got a sounblaster audigy and in the laptop some onboard shit dont know ^^

got it working on desktop pc, the problem was the setsound exe end the sound drivers where not in the orion2 directory ^^

Glad that you got it working. DOSbox does a good job of emulating soundblaster for use with MOO2.

I recommend turning off the background music. The DOS verion's music stutters a lot. For single player, I use Orion95 instead.

Is it possible to make it so Orion95.exe doesn't crash after awhile? I switched to using 1.40 because of the game liked to crash a lot and my sound decided to stutter...

Thinking about it some more, I think my sound only stutters when it is trying to run MoOII in Dos mode... Hmm.
