What do you think the best stock race is?

Out of all the prebuilt races, which one is best built for success?

For some reason in my games the Saakra or the Rock people seem to be pretty difficult to deal with; but hey in my games nearly every race i meet is tough!

Who has the best stats?

And on that note..who has the worst?!

Silicoids are good. I like Psilon and Sakkra, too.
Hate the Klackons. Uncreative is brutal.

The game races, on average or lower, I agree Silicoids are the toughest.
Though I too have had tough games where I didn't elimiante the Sakkra, Psilons, or the Klackons soon enough and the grew strong.
Since, I usually choose the Psilon face, I don't have to worry about them.
When they are in the game, all the races end up trading their techs, which defeats the purpose of random races.

On Hard level, The Klackons can get Aquatic or a 2nd Prod +1, for a total Prod+2, and they become more difficult. Also, I have seen the Darloks get Unification, so, they are able to keep up more.

I haven't played the stock races much lately. I'd guess that the ones with the strongest race picks will prevail. Silicoids are tolerant so maybe them. Klackons often do well in my games if they can get good tech choices. Psilons can be strong if left alone long enough. The Aquatic race isn't bad.
