Pollution Formula

Hi Everyone

I have been searching the web and some forums for some time now to find the formula for pollution, but it seems it hasn't been found yet (correct me if i am wrong).

My guess is that it depends on:
- Production Points (Surprise)
- Percentage of Tolerant Population
- Planet Size or max. Population (most likely the latter)
- Pollution Reducing Technologies/Buildings (Surprise Surprise)

Another question: Where in the formula the numbers are rounded (for example in the complete housing formula the numbers get rounded several times, i still have no idea how you guys figured that one out!).

I really could use that one for race designs. Could be useful to make some intelligent guesses on how much production points are lost within the game due to pollution (to decide: tolerant: yes or no?).

Pollution= (production-2*planet size)/2
Having pollution proccessor you take half of production into counting (with atmos - a quarter). It was mentioned i some guide. (i don't remember where :) ).

With that hint i got it pretty quickly.

P=(IndustryPOP-SizePLANET*2*a)/(2*b*c)

In which:
IndustryPOP is the Production that is gained by working Population. Fixed Building Bonuses do not produce Pollution at all.
a is 1 for not having nano disassemblers and 2 for having them
b is 1 for not having Pollution Processor and 2 for having it
c is 1 for not having atmospheric renewer and 4 for having it

Thanks!
