Astronomy?

Since you guys are so fond of such space game as MOO2, do you by any chance have any interests in astronomy, cosmology, and/or astrophysics?

I visit

quite often. But I forget most of the things I have learned there very fast...esp. the names of constellations.

Astronomy is a hobby I spend a fair amount of time at. A few years back my dad and I built an 8" reflecting telescope (on a Dob mount); he's retired, and like a lot of retired guys I know he has much better shop tools than I do. Great thing to do with your dad, by the way.

I spend the occasional evening looking up through it. I also have a very loose interest in cosmology to go with it, and I recently started teaching basic astronomy classes at a local home-schooling co-op. I'm no expert in the field, but it's a wonderful hobby.

My wife thinks spending all night looking through a telescope is better done in the summer than the winter, though... ;)

I am an avid astronomer...cosmologist and physicist...

I will probably earn Ph.Ds in all three...

But alas...will I have enough time?

I have been interested in astronomy since I was young. Not sure what is the most luring aspect, I guess curiousity draws me to the subject.
