Himachi does not work as far as I know...if anybody can step up to the plate and tell us how to use it, I would appreciate it.

I remember playing a space-type game where you choose your ship and you kind of have this little melee attacks against yourself and the opponent (which can be *gasp* be played on the same keyboard), but I cannot remember the name.

Was it one of the Starcontrols? They own it up seriously hardcore.

Hardly have time for games at the moment, but some of my favourites are:

Privateer, Privateer II and Freelancer
Wing Commander I to V and Starlancer
XWing
Tie Fighter
Freespace 2
Civilization (yes the original, haven't had the chance to try IV yet)
Colonization ;)
Settlers (the original not the sequels)
Starcraft , Warcraft 1-3
XCom II: TFTD
and a ton more

And, here's a game none of you have heard of, I'm sure. I've been playing it since 1996 and is one of the few games along with Moo2 that's hardly left my PC. Metalknights (www.metalknights.com) It's an online turn based strategy game. If you like chess, you'll love this game. If you hate thinking, this game is not for you. :) You can catch me up as "Genie" there.

There is a sister game to it, called Starknights, which I also like. It's RTS-style but still turn based. Far more fast paced (if you want it to be) but it has a steep learning curve. Once you learn the ropes however... ;)

I checked them out...although, the graphics are heavily outdated...they might stand up to a reasonable game to play.

Have anyone of you played Wing Commander: Prophecy?

That game was revolutionary!

Ofcourse, I've played all the WC games (that's why i had said upto WC V ;)).

Some fans of the game, have even used its engine to make a mod. They have already created 3 campaigns and working on two more.

:D MOO2 :D (with the 1.40 version patch too) :D , MOO1, Starcraft, Empire Earth AOC, :D www.Astrowars.com, www.OGame.org, gave up on MOO3 (hate starlanes and grant system, races too similar, other gripes), Massively Multiplayer Online Space Conquest Games.
MOO1 Fan, MOO2 Fan, MOO3 needed too many changes = hopeless, getting older waiting for a MOO4 (still).

I love the RTS games. I am a broodwars God, over 10,000 pvp wins

I also played a lot of diablo, then diablo2, and I still play warcraft2 sometimes. Warcraft3 is fun singleplayer, but the multiplayer sucked - most people just plain sucked at the micromanaging, and a lot of the rest were maphackers. It got old fast.

Name a Ps2 game of any genre and chances are I played it... I've been through 2 ps2 consoles and my third is ready to die... I can't wait for PS3

My all-time favorite games are:
all the Sonic the Hedgehog and Mario games
Privateer
Moo2
Max Payne 2
Broodwars
Legacy of Cain (entire series)
Crono Trigger
Seiken Densetsu 3

and all the mega-man games

Titan Quest looks really nice and promising! I will try it out when it comes out!

In the meantime...TRY HALF-LIFE2: EPISODE 1...IT IS SUBLIME!
