Titan Quest looks really nice and promising! I will try it out when it comes out!

In the meantime...TRY HALF-LIFE2: EPISODE 1...IT IS SUBLIME!
I played that first hovercraft level at a friends' house... oh man... yeah... sublime is the only word that comes close to describing it... I had a joygasm!! Has anyone played Painkiller? That game is great fun!

I can't wait for Titan Quest, the skill system sounds fantastic and the graphics look great.

I play somewhat regularly these games:

Elite (c64)
Frontier Elite 2 (PC)
Frontier: First Encounters (PC, 'Elite3')
Roadwar Europa (c64)
Maniac Mansion (c64, PC)
Day of the Tentacle (PC, 'Maniac Mansion 2')
Master of Orion (PC)
Master of Orion 2 (PC, v1.31win for single player and v1.40dos to learn and maybe some day participate in Kali)
The Ur-Quan Masters (PC, this is a Star Control 2 remake)
Star Control (PC)
Pirates! (c64)
NetHack (PC)
Rally Trophy (PC)
those old 'gold-box' AD&D games (c64, PC)
FooBillard (PC, a freeware billiards game)
GeneRally (PC)
Steel Panthers: World at War (PC)

Somewhat regularly means more often than once a year ;)
No skill, no knowledge - but lots of LUCK!!!

Hehe...I loved it..
Me too - still do ;)
I use a Meteor Police avatar on some boards, here too first, but decided to try out a gallery avatar, seems to be the unofficial Orion Nebula policy to do so...
..so you have solved it with all possible solutions?
I think so :)
Getting past Purple Tentacle with or without help from Ed or Green Tentacle (without means using Meteor Police Badge)...
Meteor either goes rocketing to night sky or with the Meteor Police, or becomes famous with its memoirs...
Did I forget something?
And where is the fuel? :)
On Mars - But that's whole different game...
No skill, no knowledge - but lots of LUCK!!!

On Mars - But that's whole different game...
Was also a nice game...but not that mystical like the first one. But I still heard rumours years after Zak that there was actually fuel in MM...

Do you have a source where I can find the dos versions of these classics?

DosBox is pretty cool stuff :)

Try google, with right keywords you might find a thing or two...
At least MMdeLuxe for windows ;)
If you have DOTT CD, it contains the DOS version of MM.

EDIT: don't forget SCUMMVM, it lets you play many DOS adventure games with modern systems

I found this brilliant Maniac Mansion remake:

http://www.chip.de/downloads/c1_downloads_13013383.html

It seems it includes all available translations.

Hmm... lets see. Well obviously I love MOO2. Magic the gathering online is another biggie for me. Resident evil 4, and Star ocean till the end of time are just of the few things i'm into like a crack head is into crack. :P

Oh, yes, I forgot to mention: Brood War, Warcraft 2, Civ 2+3 (haven't tried Civ 4, it stays expensive too long), and yes, that Titan Quest looks good. :D
also, a correction, that ogame wasn't that great. Still looking for Massively Multiplayer MOO-like online game. I haven't found a good one yet (that was free). This one appears close: http://www.birthoffederations.com/
I could post a dozen others I found. Lots of different ideas of what an 4x space conquest game is out there. Most don't stack up.
MOO1 Fan, MOO2 Fan, MOO3 needed too many changes = hopeless, getting older waiting for a MOO4 (still).
