I've been playing MoO2 for at least 10 years now but never thought it would have a community.
No matter which new flashy game comes out I always find myself going back to MoO2.
Years ago I found the 1.31 patch on the net this was great because subtle changes made it so that I had to think up all new strategies.
Sadly after playing the same 1.31 MoO2 got boring, I just played it too much even impossible wasn't a challange anymore.
Started searching on the net and found the 1.4 patch, which I couldn't use because I had the windows version.
Running Win XP it isn't easy to get the DOS version of MoO2 to install, clicking on INSTALL.EXE gave a blackscreen.
After some experimenting it fnally installs and plays using DOSBox.
Mouse feels a bit weird and there is some lag or the transition between screens is changed but all in all I'm excited to go play this updated game.
Seeing all these mods I feel like a kid in the candy store
Well that's it I'm off to play 1.4
