Not enough memory

Postby orimax » Sun Nov 20, 2005 11:59 pm

Hi!
Orion 1 says I don't have enough memory (512 Mb) when I enable sound. Is the slow DOSBox the only option here?
Thanks!

That not a problem about ur whole RAM afaik.

In older Dostimes u had only some fix memory ~640KB or so.

U should google about >> dos memory dosbox ... << !

and maybe u should read this http://www.dewassoc.com/support/msdos/msdos_memory.htm to gain more clue about it.

If u could fix ur problem, u should post here ur solution for others.

Find the game's executable file (the file you run, usually {somename}.exe) using Windows Explorer. Right click on the file, and choose "Properties".
Click the "Memory" tab.
Set all of the values in the drop boxes to the highest value available.
Make sure that the "Protected" and "Uses HMA" boxes are checked.
Click "Apply" and then click "OK" to close the box.

Seems to help.
