The Orion Nebula

Does he patch afect the antarans in any way ?
I'm playing a ofline game hard/huge WITH THE ANTARANS ON! and i havent seen them al all i have completed the normal reserch ( no advanced tech ) !
I went to there dimension jut so i can capture a ship , did that , ordered that ship to retret and left some ships to hold the starfortres busy , the next turn some of the ships returned but not the antaran ship , and it didnt explode , it played the worp out animation !
Where are they ? Why arent they attaking me ( i have the bigest/largest empire )?

In fact, I have already tried to go on Antares with a telepatic race, capture an antarian ship and then flee with it, this has never worked while I play with the 1.31 windows version of the game.
