Patch 1.4 and vista

Postby Sputax » Tue Aug 18, 2009 8:47 am

I am trying to install moo2 on my new computer which has vista 64. When i click on the patch execute it goes to 100% installing the patch then i get an error message saying it has stopped working and clik to close. Any suggestions as to how to solve this?

Cheers

You can patch on non vista machine and then copy the files into the moo folder on your machine.

You don't need any shortcut to play the game.
1. patch with >1.31>1.40
2. copy the whole folder into your vista machine.
3.edit dosbox.conf file ( i presume you have installed DosBox) according to
DosBox guide

I did all that and started a game but when it loaded it still said v1.31. Ive tried running orion2v140 with dos box but it says its an illegal command. only accepts orion2 as command. where am i going wrong?

P.S. Thanks for the help :-)

See the note in chapter 1B.
The proper name of 1,40 file is orion2~1
