Errors when attempting to run

Postby jhina » Tue Oct 28, 2008 1:38 pm

While I bought the game through Atari and thus it is the 95 version. I've patched it and have set everything up correctly per a guide ( http://masteroforion2.blogspot.com/2006 ... guide.html ). I am running Windows XP Home on a Latitude D810 and have installed DOSBOX and when running the game I get a large number of Illegal Write errors after selecting new game or multiplayer once I reach the game setup screen.
I can provide screenshots and fuhrer information as needed. Thanks.

Mebbe some of your files are corrupted? I encounter such "illegal write error" messages from time to time, but after reloading the game from save it is usualy ok.

Try these settings in dosbox.conf http://lordbrazen.blogspot.com/2007/03/ ... lable.html (see sblaster section). You may have to run setsound.exe under dosbox then.
