MoO2 on MAC

Postby zyoung86 » Fri Feb 29, 2008 1:32 pm

I am attempting to run MoO 2 on MAC OS 10.3.9 (a g4 powerbook). I'm using DOSBOX (latest version) and I can run the program but it's slow and skippy and crashes frequently. Is there any way to fix this?

See http://masteroforion2.blogspot.com/2006 ... guide.html tuning dosbox.conf section. Mebbe it'll help.

I used Qemu (http://www.kju-app.org/) and Windows95b-DOS inside to run MOO2 at reasonable speeds because at the time Dosbox offered no processor acceleration on the G4.
There seems to be a way to network with other Qemu users by forwarding virtual network cards, but I never got the chance to try that out.

Forget OSX, just run it natively on Classic.

Actually, while running it natively on classic...is there anyway to patch it?!

Actually, I got it to work perfectly running Windows 98 with Virtual PC on my Powerbook G4 (OS X 10.4).
