DynCore Error using DOSBox 0.7

DynCore Error using DOSBox 0.7

Hi, now that I have the DOS version working, I was able to play for a long time without a problem. However, after leaving and coming back to the game, DOSBox 0.7 gives me the following error when I try to colonize a particular planet.

DynCore: Illegal option in opcode 0xff

Anyone have a clue what this is about?

I tried changing core to normal vs. auto and got this message after DOSBox errors out:

CPU:GRP5:Illegal call 7

Not exactly a helpful error message.

Sometimes when you play dosbox different errors appear. Try to load the game from autosave and continue then. Mebbe this help.

I couldn't recreate the error after I started a new game, but I discovered that you can set up a game with the v1.4 command switches (no nebulas, etc.), quit out of the game and DOSBox, and then run the Windows version continuing that same game. This work-around works great, since the Windows version runs much faster than inside DOSBox. I may be missing some bug fixes in v1.4 this way, though.
