Do I have the DOS version of the game?

I own a real copy of the game on CD-ROM. The cover of the disc says "DOS / WINDOWS 95"

I obviously see the orion95.exe file but I'd like to know if I have the DOS version and if so what file would I launch for it?

The reason being that I'd like to use some of the mods for the DOS version of the game.

dos version: orion2.exe
dos installation: install.exe

win version: orion95.exe
win installation: setup.exe

Besides the exe there are only small differences between the both versions:

win version requires the dll files.
dos version requires: rkernel.com

So a win installation can generally be used when you add the dos files later on. For example the 1.31 patch contains the orion2.exe.

oh, so i could plop the game down on my machine - patch it and then run the DOS version? thanks a lot
