Dark screen in DOS mode?

I finally got my sound working with VDMsound, but when i start the game using VDMsound the screen is very dark and adjusting the brightness using the control panel has no effect. My monitor is already turned to maximum brightness on the monitor itself. I know nothing about DOS, but is there someway to adjust brightness in DOS itself?

No....I don't think you can adjust brightness in dos...in fact, I am pretty certain.


Just forget the VMD...try it without it...that may be messing some things....
