How to make ur own MoO2 Movie ?
KevituZ found a way to make MoO2-Movies.
All u need is
Hypercam
http://www.hyperionics.com/hc/downloads.asp
and
DosBox
http://dosbox.sourceforge.net/news.php?show_news=1
I offer here a short Movie
http://moo2.de.vu/MoO2_movie_test.rar
There u r able to see the first 2 turns in game.
Tomorrow I´ll make a UNITOL tutorial about 2 movies
turn0 - t20 and t21 - ~t40.

KevituZ read several guides on masteroforion2.blogspot.com and asked if we could publish some videos there. Of course, all the guides are a nice first step but many small details remain unclear. I remember that Gusset mentioned once that a phone call from Cybersaber helped him very much. (They played the same savegame and Cybersaber gave him instructions.) I hope these videos will have a similar effect for new players.
And I hope that several veteran players support this project.
For example, I hope that Gusset will present his demo lith lrhw.

Hi Kevituz
,
I could definitely assist in polishing the English, if you'd like. Just let me know when your ready for a proof-read.
But I'd probably need some time, as I don't want to sacrifice to much MOO
.

I made a post at sirons blog showing how to capture moo2
http://masteroforion2.blogspot.com/2006 ... 9284330106
I also commented the first part of Alex' video.
@Brent:
Try to accelerate the movie speed with Microsoft Movie Maker or zip the movie. Or both.

Do not change the file, just put it into a rar archive and compress it 'good'. So u will have somthin about 8MB, I guess.
What race did u play ... ?

I loaded the both movie parts up to
http://www.youtube.com/profile?user=Starzkream781
If u watch it in a large mode u can see some details, but all in all the quality isn´t as good as the download version.
