Mouse Problems!

Postby Beowolf » Wed Dec 21, 2005 8:40 pm

I just installed MOO2 on XP SP2. I installed it so that I don't need the CD. I patched it with the 1.4 patch. The game runs, but my mouse is all jerky. The jerkiness comes and goes, but it seems to be worse when there's moving things on the screen (like the credits on the intro screen). Any ideas on what the problem could be?

Hello Beowolf,

Welcome to the forums. While I am sure someone more computer literate than I will be around to assist you soon enough, I thought I could offer some simple advice. First, if you haven't already, it may be a good idea to look for a updated mouse driver. If this is an ball mouse, it could need cleaning (probably not if its related to the graphics being displayed). Finally, it is probably a good idea to post your mouse brand and driver version for the more technically inclined.

Talked with Beowolf on Kali and he got it figured out. I believe he said it was a conflict with some software he had running.
