I read the suggestion that I copy the file DPLAYx.dll and rename the copy DPLAY.dll. Sounded kike a very simple solution to my problem.
No such luck. I found the file, copied it and attempted to rename it. I got a message something along the lines of "administrative approval is required to rename file. Access denied".
What the heck? I need approval to modify the files on my own computer?
Windows 7 and missing DPLAY.dll
You may need to change ownership on the file, if it's currently set to SYSTEM.
