Galaxy Age vs Spectral Class Table

Postby Rocco » Sun Aug 23, 2015 1:26 pm

Here is the table used for determining the distribution of star types in the galaxy.

_star_class_table
001F3E92 (DOS) / 001FBED2 (140)
14 0A 05 - 20 10 05
19 0F 05 - 25 15 05
0A 10 1E - 10 16 30 | Row is spectral class: Blue, White, Yellow, Orange, Red, Brown, Black Hole
0A 10 15 - 10 16 21 | Column is Galaxy Age as follows:
20 25 1E - 32 37 30 | 0 = Young Galaxy
01 02 03 - 01 02 03 | 1 = Avg. Galaxy
02 04 06 - 02 04 06 | 2 = Old Galaxy

The table gives the percent chances to get a certain star type for each galaxy age.
From this table you can see that there is a 4% chance that a star in an Average galaxy will be a Black Hole.
