Using OCLplus

Postby wraith203 » Mon Jun 05, 2006 3:10 pm

Please excuse me if the mistake is obvious, as I am new at both DOS & modding.
-------------------------------

I tried using the OCLplus editor, but keep getting an error.

I use a shortcut to point to the oclplus.exe & it has a command line of:
C:\MPS\ORION2\OCLPLUS.EXE -e orb21.txt
with the exe's all being in the C:\MPS\ORION2 directory.

If you can tell me what I'm doing wrong, I'd be very thankful.

By the way, the change I am hoping to make, is to alter plasma cannons so they are not auto-matically enveloping, like fusion beams for example.

OH!

I should also mention that I am using OCLplus v0.3 and the Moo2 v1.40b23 patch with a DOS installation.

Well now,
It seems my techname.lbx file was corrupted. I tried to play a game and it said that my techname.lbx was not a lbx file & gave some error message.

Copying a new one out of patch 2v131 seems to have fixed it.

Followed siron's advice here.

Gonna try it out.

Yeah, once I realized I had corrupt files (I found another one), it all fell into place. Only had to change 2 flags to get what I wanted. Thanks Lord Brazen.

If mods can delete this thread, please feel free.

Sorry...
