Thing that can be moded...

Hi,

Sorry for my poor english (but, you know, my tailor is rich).


I look around for add a few changes for this great game, but i see the thing we can ADD are very few. I see that, say me if i'm wrong :


New tech : 42 (255 minus the 203 already here).

New ship size : 0.

New orbital station : 0.

New ship design : 0.

New weapons : 0.

New buildings that are updates or can be updated : ?

New buildings that not are updates or can't be updated : 0 (because de city view, full of buildings at the end of game).

New planetary defense : 0 ?

New shield, planetary shield, armor and drives : 0.


I am right ?

Hi, and welcome from a fellow newbie.

Now, the only ones i know you can get are tech (new), and new ship designs.

I am unsure but LB could answer here....what is easy to add...and what would be difficult. I just recall that LB meant it is possible to add techs....

Though I dont think it is really necessary...just modify the existing items (you have a lot of options there with OCLplus) and enjoy.

Well... If i understand, you say i can't add a nice cheap orbital station for newborn colony, or an enormous (and costly) SpaceBlockaus for battle invading doomstar fleet ? Or advanced missile bases with more missiles ?

You could always weaken the starbase and make it cheap. And the super-missile-base..

Perhaps just change the missile base (since you get it first), to a "Defence Platform", and give it 400 space of lasers and missiles. Double it for the "Super-defence Platform", and increase the production costs for the both of them.

I hope i'm not commandeering, though.

It's also possible to mod the look of the game...
You can replace all images if you want.
