"Consequently if pd beams are not enough missiles go through and hit the ship, which can blow up, if the missiles had emg. This tactics is based on the fact that you can't target /shoot missiles with beams, while they move synchronously with antimatter torpedo. " It sounds like one's PD weapons work...
Wow! Thanks for the details. I was familiar with Warlord, but, not the militia. I did actually have a game where my -10 ground troop (1 trans) lost to the militia, after defeating the 1-2 Infantry remaining on a planet (humiliating). There were 4 militia, and it was Sakkra, so, that would explain wh...

I guess the next question I have is: Who is using the tactic first? Uni Races or other Races, such as Demos? If it is the non-Unis using this, then, I am all for it (at least for awhile, lol). Otherwise, the tactic should be avoided in competitive games against unexpecting players. If all the player...

I re-read this older post reciently and wondered if anyone found a way to adapt these ideas to the game in the past couple of years, especially, with the new mods that have been introduced reciently. ALEXD's idea of: FF +10% (Hardest to Hit) DD + 5% CA 0% (No Change) BB -5 % Titan -10 % Doomstar - 1...

Interesting question. I found myself thinking to select all of your vote choices, at some point. The answers above all seem right too. To the question; Is it a bug? Yes. I can't believe the designers intented us not be able to choose which target, when targets overlap, we want to fire at. To the que...

Hi Void, I've been skimming through your topic (unfortunately, no, I am not aware of anyway to modify those hex addresses you mentioned), but, I found myself thinking, there might be an easier answer to this than trying the hardest one first. #1 When you find yourself or computer foes being defeated...

I voted to keep the bonus as is too. It's random who actually get a Navigator Leader, and they have to pay for him each turn to keep him, possibly removing him when they are full or a better one comes along. Now, I don't routinely play the "chase after the attacking fleet", type of game much. This w...

I remember asking a similar question at one point I don't believe anyone has figured ou the exact method on how the spy rolls, % chance of success, or tech stolen are determined. MOO3 did increase our Spy Options, but, not enough. On a side note, I bought Civ 4 and its two Expansions, and I like how...

Many questions, few answers. First, I have the Ground Combat Section Chapter 10, from the Manual.pdf file Ground Combat Once you click on the Invade option, thereÕs nothing more you can do. The Marines drop to the planetÕs surface and assault the colony. As emperor, your action now is limited to wat...

 You could be right there. I've seen those charts before myself, and they appear to be accurate. They have Subt/Tol, but, not Aqua/Subt, not sure why. It is a valid pop max choice. It never made since to me for an Aquatic race to have to terraforn their ocean world into a terran, so, they coul...
