Otherwise, just delete/remove mox.set. It is generated each time you start moo2.

Absorbing other population doesn't necessarily require ground combat, and surely not tactical ground combat. F.e. available surrender option for a planet. And especially when you like to annex pop it is more important the game would prevent the players to kill their own pop. (Send to full planet.) T...

Investing 200k marines on japanese isles or dropping 2 bombs....hmmm. Not that difficult. The situations that make me consider a ground invasi...

And along that point Kerboros made actually a right choice by excluding it in their 4X Game SOTS. More emphasis on Ground Combat would si...

Or, to look at it another way, consider Starcraft 2. Starcraft 1 was extremely popular. What is Blizzard doing to prevent Starcraft 2 from going down the same road as MOO3? They simply choose mode 3 IMO (3Dgraphics, though2D gameplay(!), no new races, just some new units a.k.a. rebalancing). I woul...

Re: Don't get MoOII Multiplayer to work
I must use the virtual machine, because only there the graphics is displayed correctly. MoOII seems to have a problem with the driver in my real WinXP. I cant see why thats a reason to use dosbox in a virtual machine. Never heard of any graphic problems inside dosbox under XP. You should just try. ...
