Thanks peterman.
It always great to hear of about MOO2 projects that work.
With my current MOO2 CD, I don't have access to the DOS version anymore.
I've been on other forums, and see alot of modding going on, but, not something as important as this.
I'll try it out.
Good Work.

I'll try it next time with Ground Attack -10, Ship Defense -20, Production +2, Rich Homeworld, Unification, Repulsive and Telepathic. This can work in solo games, if, you seek out the higher pop races, and conquer them, especially, Sakkra and Trilarian. These two, if at least 1 of their pop is tran...

Civilization IV - The MOO2 mod
As there are many MOO2 fans still out there, some have modded Civilization IV into a MOO2 mod. They have Spys, the leaders from MOO2 are the Great People in Civ IV, and Elerians can instantly assimilate a city, instead of waiting for the revolt to end. That could work in singleplayer games. Remember, the Ship Initiative formula uses Ship Attack and Beams weapons to determine who goes first. In multiplayer games, you could lose ships before all of your ships can attack. Also, to hit with Neutron Beams (to kill the crew off before boarding) you will...

Hi johntfs and welcome to the forums. Now, the tough love. You might find this works on average in a single player game, but, against anyone who knows what they are doing, you would be rushed before you could be a threat. This race's biggest weakness is its lack of ability to grow. Almost everyone w...

Radiation , I would handle just like the planet Mercury. It has little or no atmosphere, and basically the only way life would exist for centuries there, would be underground, and those that could create habitable facilities underground. So, this would limit who could live on the planet. Lithovores...

If one was going to redo the system, and have multiple colonies per planet, the simplest way would be to have a "next region" button at the bottom, like a next page would be used in Word processors. Then could just goto the next region, whether it be a continent, ocean, mountain, swamp, whatever. Pe...

I agree that a colony base type of ship should take 1 turn to fly from your inner planet to your outer planet, but, considering the distances that seperate each star, inner system travel would would seem instantious. The region part was done poorly in MOO3. I agree that should have been done more re...

Yea, I preferred the antigrav harness as well. You have to chose some techs for ground combat purposes, if you plan to capture any planets. I can usually find any other assortment of weapons to take out the Guardian. Many people use Dests with Mercs MIRV'd. You can build alot of them early, because,...

Those kinds of defenses become more important, if for your Large and Huge planets near an opponent or you are Warlord (or plan to pick it later). The maximum number of troops and armor you can have on a planet is effected by the planet size. So, If you have a 42 max pop planet (Aqua,Subt+maxed Terf'...
