Yes I can fix this. If it is an actual bug and not a feature of the game then I will look at it. I dont recall ever looking at the ground battles closely when I had powered armor. I do recall some battles where the troops took 2 hits to kill due to my opponents race picks but not due to power armor...

Well, this is just something I wish they had not fiddled with from the beginning. I love the IPC and I know that later in the game it is rendered obsolete by the heavier armors, Adamantiam and Neutronium. Because if taking Orion is permitted, the game can turn into nothing more than a race to find and kill the Guardian. Most players on this board only play multiplayer and we play without orion then. Of course, your guardian is tuffer (mirv emg mercs tactics should have problems now) but fast ships with stasis fields can it still knock out easily when they have initiative. How come you remove Orion? Seems a bit odd...
