Regards Dosbox, at the the End/Bottom of your Dosbox configuration file there's a list of command line options for your MOO2.exe to run.
Over there you can add your command line switches accordingly.

You can use MeltingPot to give AI illegal Picks, including Creativity to everyone. Its a very good software I think. Making everyone a "Super" Race with the following traits can be interesting - all Subterranean / Aquatic / Tolerant with +1/+2 Pop growth - all Creative & Repulsive For Pre-warp Games...

Just some poking around... (I'm playing on v1.4 thank you Lord Brazen) I've found that Assault Shuttles launched from Cruiser and Smaller Ships *Immediately* hit enemy Ships, resulting in Boarding Results (and Captures). I think Creative is extremely powerful in lategame, but 6 or 7 might be good, yes. Its not that much difference in a pre-warp game though. BTW, just wondering, perhaps there can be a /allcreative=2 or some such commandline option put in place, such that all Computer Players are Creative for the equi...
