I always liked the stealth options for a number of reasons. Mostly, they are useful if your opponent has warp interdictors, star gates-- in otherwords late in the game, really. I usually play games with my brother though, so they tend to go longer than one session so this is a scenario that comes up...

there was actually an editor (i could have sworn it was an earlier version of corion) that allowed you to create new stars. the editor screen was a map of the game map and if you clicked on an area where there was no star it would ask you if you wanted to create one. it worked great, i dont know abo...
