Don't be offended rofl
Ha! Told ya 150 for neural and a change for cyb security to 5 from 10 was unreasonable. I don't care you think it was unfair, that is what creative is for. Or that is what compromise is for. And it is supposed to be a difficult choice & substantiality mod :), which it largely is. This is my mode, a...

Without a doubt
Hi, zitro. This is what made me not enjoy Expa, it was just too different and a harder learning curve do to everything being in unusual places. Without a doubt, EXPa IS different mod, no even more: it’s different game . And yes: it’s challenging. And of course you won’t feel the fun till you learn t...

For the record
2c'g As usual you never understand what I say :P Under lesser evil I meant the optimum negative picks combination given the costs of the race picks. Sometimes there can be several optimal sets, but the core reamains unchanged. e.g. repulsive in original moo. Addition: of course tech tree has an imp...

I beg to differ
Well, you touched very vast topic, this couldn't be explained with just a few sentences. Changing repulsive to -2 without adequate increase of the free points hits the ballance of all other picks. For example, there is always a substitue for repulsive in the face of lowG. LowG is temporal negative,...

Oh Noes...
MOO2 is a great game, but my desire to play it, while still present, is on/off. This is probably due to having done it 10 years running. DC/VDC help a little, but not hugely. Oh man, my Mod isn't in Gusset's list T_T As for MoO3, I'm totally agree with Gusset: horrible battle mechanics implementati...

See the difference
Indeed, DC mod: ...balances things very well overall, makes it more strategic (difficult choices indeed!) and makes the game a much more rewarding experience... …especially when you play Dictatorship (most powerful Government in DC acknowledged by most of the community). It also doesn't make the tec...

Don't think so
Balance, balance, balance... It's not as simple how it looks. You have nice intentions, zitro (I saw your post in DC Mod thread). However, do you consider the fact, that Siron (and everione who related to DC Mod) are well seasoned players and already have discussed balance to death? Armor/Shield for...

Hello, Draco. First of all, everything in MoO2 is spinning around Tech Tree. So practically all Race picks depend on structure of Techs. So there isn't one sure definition for costs of Race picks. Secondly, there are a bunch off MoO2 Mods here, which was done by good players with a lot of 'in game' ...

Errors
No. It seems that your .txt is erroneous (something wrong with Techs positioning or so). You see there are a couple of 'rules' which is necessary to follow. For example, Tech tree can't contain single Food or pollution Techs in one Tech Field because there is Lithovore and Tollerant. Thus all food/p...

ACTIVE
Hi guys, c’g~ here. W hen I saw 73 downloads of EXPa Pro 2.1 on my account I was astonished. So now I feel the urge to inform all of you that EXPa Pro is ACTIVE project. T hose past months I have worked on update for it. Sometimes less effective, but sometimes without a break work has been in progre...

So what?
We talk about original moo now, no mod is concered Strange, I didn’t see any restrictions in the name of this thread. I think any MoO2 modification can be heavily influenced by that new tactic, so my concern about modifications is quite fair . This issue in my opinion has a pure technical character...

Evolving IS GOOD!
Hi everyone. Quite interesting thread we have here, so my thoughts about it: I agree with PK – everything is evolving and it is for better . So we need to adjust. But at the same time I agree with Achiraaz: if this feature comparable in power with UniTol it is quite a disaster for original MoO2. But...
