Yeah, I think my formula would be for a 50% success rate. I only got a C+ in statistics, but I think you'd need to know the standard deviation in order to calculate for say, a 98% success rate (2 deviations). If you believe a 25% increase gets you pretty close to 100% success, then perhaps the stand...

Powered armor and heavy G both do help in boarding actions.
