MD Choice @ Fields 250 Mass Driver ECM Jammer Class I shield. ECM is not really all that useful, so its a non-choice leaving MDs and basic shields. Erm.. AF weapons are the same as ENV - they hit or miss entirely, in one go. The AI will definatley go for Orion if you leave it alone long enough, and it will definately use the techs as well as Loknar.
