VDC_mod_45b.rar has VDCREG.exe from version 44. When armor is zero damage is only 1X. ESD 'copies' damage that armor takes to structure. I have bad news for you. Just tested this versus amoeba(no armor at all) and enemy battleship with 900/300. As for extra structural damage [ESD], any damage which affects armor is doubled on structure. It's not just x2 damage.
